TapMeOnline was built as the direct antithesis of the surveillance-driven dating app casino. We do not monetize your attention, track your off-site browsing habits, or sell your biometric, location, or behavioral data to data brokers or advertising networks.

2. Information We Collect & How It Is Used

We collect only the minimum information necessary to calculate circadian resonance and enforce community safety:

• Account & Verification Data: When signing in with Google, Microsoft, Meta (Facebook), or SMS, we receive your verified primary email, name, and provider user ID (Subject ID). We use this to verify personhood, prevent duplicate bot creation, and maintain your account.
• Profile Baseline & Daily Rhythm: Your declared waking hour, peak clarity window, social battery cadence, and your 3 responses in "A Glimpse Into Your World." These form your static mathematical baseline for the Wavelength Harmony algorithm.
• Authentic Media (Max 3 Photos): A strict maximum of 3 natural, unedited photos. Photos are stored securely and never indexed by public search engines.
• Approximate Location: We collect high-level city/region coordinates to filter your 12 daily horizons. We never track or store real-time continuous GPS paths.

3. Progressive Disclosure & Photo Privacy

Unlike open-catalog dating apps that expose user photos to search bots, scrape tools, and casual onlookers, TapMeOnline protects your appearance through our 3-Tap Progressive Reveal:

• Stage 0 (Daily Horizon): Your profile is displayed as an irreversible, privacy-preserving soft silhouette. Facial details remain completely blurred.
• Stage 1 (Tap 1): Unlocks your morning rhythm and core reflections. Photo remains softly blurred.
• Stage 2 (Tap 2): Unlocks your Sunday philosophy, voice note, and second lifestyle photo in gentle soft-focus.
• Stage 3 (Mutual Tap 3): Crystal-clear portraits and direct dialogue are only minted when mutual interest and connection are established.

4. Geographic Privacy & Anti-Triangulation

To prevent stalkers from pinpointing home or workplace locations via geometric trilateration (measuring distance from multiple vantage points):

• We never display exact distances (e.g., "0.4 miles away").
• All member profiles display broad Proximity Horizons only: Neighborhood (5–15 km), Metro Area (15–35 km), Regional (35–100 km), or Boundless Horizon (Anywhere in the World / Distance Doesn't Matter).
• Our database applies a deterministic ±2 km spatial jitter to all geographic lookups, ensuring mathematical privacy.

5. OAuth 2.0 & Third-Party Providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta)

When you choose to authenticate using third-party identity providers, we interact strictly through standard OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect protocols:

• Google: We request only `openid`, `email`, and `profile` to verify your identity.
• Microsoft: We request only `openid`, `email`, `profile`, and `User.Read`.
• Meta (Facebook): We request only `email` and `public_profile`.

6. The Sabbatical Time Vault & Multi-Year Inactive Account Lifecycle

When you activate the Sabbatical Time Vault (freezing your membership while dating exclusively), your profile is immediately pulled from all Daily Horizons across the network. Unused membership days remain frozen in your vault (up to 2 months for 1-month passes; up to 6 months for 3-month passes).

For accounts that conclude their subscription or sabbatical and remain idle for extended periods, we adhere to strict data minimization and consumer protection principles:

• Marked Sabbatical (Not Online for Long): The account status is classified as Sabbatical with an explicit system tag indicating the user has not been online for long (sabbatical_long_term_inactive).
• Zero Ghost Profiles (Pulled from Horizon): Inactive profiles are permanently delisted from all Daily Horizon pools. Active members only ever connect with singles having active intent.
• All Pictures & Saved Voices Automatically Deleted: To protect personal privacy, prevent biometric harvesting, and guard against AI voice cloning, all uploaded photos, portraits, candid pictures, and saved voice recordings/audio intros are permanently purged and deleted from cloud storage after 1 year of inactivity.
• Full Street Address & Sensitive Data Scrubbed: Your actual full physical street address, building/unit number, and precise GPS coordinates are permanently deleted. We retain only coarse regional data (City, State/Province, Country, ZIP/Postal Code). Other sensitive data—including phone numbers, specific employers, stored payment method tokens, and telemetry logs—are permanently scrubbed.
• What Stays (Your Name & Relevant Login Information): We preserve your full name, OAuth login credentials, verified email, coarse city/state/zip location, circadian rhythm badge, and written bio reflections/prompts. You can log back in seamlessly with 1 click at any point in the future without losing your personality. When you return, you simply upload 3 fresh, current photos to rejoin!
• Graduated Alumni Exemption: Couples who have graduated into the Alumni Sanctuary have lifetime preservation of their shared Keepsake Storybook and are exempt from automated purging unless they choose to delete their records.
